Experience

Marshall has worked in the market research and trial consulting field for nearly ten years assisting some of the best known trial consultants both in person and online. In that time he has developed innovative techniques and new methodologies in videography, data collection, and reporting for focus group and mock jury research projects. These cost-effective efficiencies produced greater client satisfaction and a significant ROI.

• Utilized SPSS for data mining and data warehousing to combine scores of data sets that included nearly 10,000 survey and mock trial participants with over three-million data points. Data modeling will be conducted to publish scholarly and public press articles on juror decision-making processes.

• Developed a tablet data collection system for face-to-face focus group and mock trial research to provide clients and moderators with instantaneous, error-free graphs and tables of participants' responses to questionnaire items. Turn-around time for reporting was cut from days to seconds.

• Provided strategic project management of videography and video-editing processes to dramatically cut post-production time with the use of online, secure video streaming.

• Traveled nationally to manage research technology and help clients prepare for high-stakes civil trials.

• Strategic planning and project management to develop an online learning system for witness training.

Education

• Marshall graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelors degree in history and psychology.

• Graduated as a "Research Fellow" of the University, an honor distinction awarded to students upon completion of a significant research project that uncovers new knowledge or applies existing knowledge to solving problems.

• Presented at the 2018 OSU Humanities Research Conference. Published undergraduate thesis in the OSU Scholars Archive.

• Psychology (Minor): Applied studies in decision-making and persuasion to assist with focus group and mock trial jury research.
